March 2011, Kevin & Julie, Merseyside. When Apple tell you that your beloved iMac is “vintage” and not worth repairing, do not despair, contact Appel and they will sort you out. We cannot recommend their service too highly.

Februaary 2011, Sheila, Market Drayton, Shropshire. A tricky problem, source unknown, but sorted by Keith with a great deal of patience and perseverance. All data retrieved and all external hard drives functioning again after many hours of work. I couldn’t thank Keith enough. I really was very grateful indeed! February 2010, Jeremy, Ironbridge, Telford. Appel’s response to my urgent request to get my machine fixed went beyond expectations. Appel removed the panic. They were able to take the machine on Saturday afternoon and returned it fixed at 10 am Sunday morning, if I hadn’t ‘faffed’ so much trying to fix the issue myself, I would’ve lost a lot less time. Next time (hopefully there won’t be one) I won’t hesitate to use Appel. 17” MacBook Pro replace HD & data recovery.

Your estimate was accurate for what I requested and you were upfront in letting me know that some of the repairs/upgrades may not be possible. Fortunately they were and all for the price you quoted me. Your turn around was very quick considering my high street shop took nearly six weeks to tell me they couldn’t do what I wanted. Being an international picture agency where our photographers batter around apple macs more than the average user, when things go wrong they always happen at the wrong time which usually results in us needing an instant repair doing – sometimes a matter of hours before we jet off to our next destination. We cannot recommend Keith Cox and Appel highly enough, not only does he drop everything he is doing, repairs are done in an instant and failing that, concise, excellent solutions are found. Invaluable advice given has resulted in us building a fail proof back up system which completely eases any issues that we now are faced with. I took my dead MacBook Pro in to the offices on Friday Lunchtime, it was repaired and I picked it up less than 24hrs later. FANTASTIC. The cost was 1/3 of what I had been quoted by anybody else, which made the repair very affordable. Keith, also, provided a software solution to help prevent the same thing happening again.
