Faults and Solutions

Mac Mini Intel completely dead. Replaced RAM, PRAM battery & tested all connections. Logic board fault diagnosed and uneconomic repair.

Another iPad 2 dropped and glass did not serve. Replaced broken scree with new glass/digitiser.

External hard drive dropped. Diagnosed displaced or broken heads. Sent to specialist laboratory for strip down & rebuild in clean environment for best chance of full data recovery.

MacBook Pro with screen very loose. Diagnosed faulty hinge. Stripped & replaced hinges. Mac repair completed successfully within the day.

iPhone 4 glass damaged. Removed broken glass and replaced screen/digitiser. All good

iPad 4 with broken screen. Old glass all removed and new glass/digitiser fitted.

13″ Retina MacBook Pro replaced complete screen assembly for £300 less than Apple quoted. Bargain!

20″ iMac not booting. HD has failed and requires extra RAM to run latest software. Client opted to buy used MacBook Unibody. Disk recovery failed in house so sent to HD laboratory for strip & rebel of drive tot recover data. Client’s back up disk was also faulty. Repaired HD & recovered all data to new drive in MacBook.

iPad 4 fitted new charging port and reset main board. Works & charges now

iPad 2 dropped by client. Glass is intact but no screen. Stripped and tested LCD needed replacing.
